1. Could not start War3.exe and no CD crack 1.22a!! Make sure the loader is in your Warcraft III:
The game Warcraft 3 uses “Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries”,download Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) here.
IMPORTANT: “Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries” requires “MicrosoftWindows Installer 3.0″ or later. If installation of “Microsoft VisualC++ runtime libraries” didn’t worked, you need new version of“Microsoft Windows Installer” :
Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable (v2):
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Service Pack 3; Windows 2000Service Pack 4; Windows Server 2003; Windows XP; Windows XP ServicePack 1; Windows XP Service Pack 2. Click to download Download.
Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable (v3):

2. Installpath/path not recognized error:
Solution: visit here. Type your warcraftIII directory into the text box. Click generate and run the .reg files, Run the patch.

3. Unable to patch file BNUpdate.exe
Solution to Unable to patch file BNUpdate.exe:
1. Navigate to your Warcraft III directory (For me this is C:/Program Files/Warcraft III)
2. Rename BNUpdate.exe to BNUpdate.bak
3. Rename patch.txt (if it exists) to patch.bak
4. Run the patch again
5. If it is successful, delete BNUpdate.bak and patch.bak

4. Unable to patch file War3.exe
Solution to Unable to patch file War3.exe:
1. Navigate to your Warcraft III directory (For me this is C:/Program Files/Warcraft III)
2. Rename War3.exe to War3.bak
3. Rename patch.txt (if it exists) to patch.bak
4. Run the patch again
5. If it is successful, delete BNUpdate.bak and patch.bak

5. Unable to apply patch to file ‘UI\SoundInfo\DialogSounds.slk’
This error pop up whenever you try to apply patches 1 by one! blizzardreleased lot of small updates witch mostly are useless! Solution issimple: always use Universal 1.22a to patch your game, reinstall thegame and use patch at below.
